ABOUT US:
The "Muff Diver" is a 1984 Ocean Yacht, refitted throughout in 1992 and re-powered in 2003 with twin 500 HP A Northern-Lights/Lugger 6125 Diesels. . In 1992 she went through extensive re-modeling to make the vessel more charter fishing friendly. The "Muff Diver" has heat/air conditioning, TV/VCR, stereo, microwave, refrigerator, ice maker and other amenities. The cockpit, planned with the fisherman in mind, is fully equipped for offshore fishing. There is a large kill box for your catch with an ice machine feeding it to insure your catch is kept fresh. There are two chairs, a rocket launcher or nothing in the cockpit depending on the kind of fishing to be done. She has full state of the art electronics.

SOME GUIDELINES:
There is a competent fish cleaning service which you may want to use located right at the marinas. It certainly saves time and usually makes for better fillets and steaks as an end result. You must provide your own coolers for storage of your fillets.

As you will find throughout the day, my Mate will be a most helpful and knowledgeable member of your team. TIPPING is CUSTOMARY and EXPECTED. It should be based upon your discretion. A MINIMUM tip of $240.00 will be greatly appreciated and is well deserved for long hours of hard work. If you feel that my Mate is not worth a tip, please tell me why - what he did or did not do. I would greatly appreciate your comments. Thanks !

Just in case the weather is bad the day of your charter (the Captain will make the final determination about this) you may receive a refund of your deposit or re-schedule your trip for another day.

Reservations are required. A $400.00 per-day deposit is necessary to confirm a reservation and must be received ten (10) days after the reservation is made or the day becomes available to the general public. There are no deposit refunds other than for bad weather or boat breakdown.

Please insure when you book us and send the deposit in that you have collected from your friends in advance so the responsibility is theirs and not yours and the trip can proceed as planned because the monies have been collected.

We are licensed to carry six (6) passengers - please don't ask us to take more. ILLEGAL DRUGS & FIREARMS ARE NOT TOLERATED! You are WELCOME on the bridge as long as YOU ARE SEATED. The salon is AIR CONDITIONED.
